Bringing Nature to Design: A Collaboration with Nadine Weatherstone Atelier
When creative strategist Sean Yashar approached us about a photo project for Nadine Weatherstone Atelier, we knew it would be something special. Nadine’s handcrafted wallpapers, already featured in top industry showrooms, were set to launch a new line—the first of its kind under her independent label. To introduce the collection, Sean envisioned a lookbook that went beyond standard product photography—one that told a story.
As the founder of The Culture Creative, Sean helps artists develop their brand strategies. For Nadine, he envisioned a concept that would highlight her deep connection to nature: photographing her wallpapers in the misty forests of Oregon.
In addition to these atmospheric outdoor shots, we captured color-accurate studio images to showcase the rich hues, textures, and details of each wallpaper. This combination ensured that the collection was presented both creatively and precisely.
The final lookbook, designed by The Culture Creative, featured eight chapters—one for each pattern—combining full rolls, color swatches, and macro details, all headed with images of the wallpapers draped over branches and nestled among ferns. The project concluded with a striking image of wallpaper lengths appearing to float on the wind before settling on the forest floor, bringing the concept full circle.
This collaboration showed the power of visual storytelling. By blending artistic imagery with detailed product photography, Nadine Weatherstone Atelier’s new collection was positioned not just as wallpaper, but as a statement of thoughtful design and craftsmanship.
